About The Client

​​Food Clubs is a members-only shop that allows you to buy the best wholesome, ethical, and sustainable foods at wholesale prices, up to 40% off the RRP. It’s the same model as big wholesale chains like Costco, but specifically for organic- and ethically-produced groceries.

The Challenge

​When Food Clubs launched, they approached us to do some initial proof-of-concept and audience testing. They wanted to discover which messages resonated and which audiences responded most to their service. But of course, the ultimate test would be whether we could get people to sign up and use the service.

Because this was a new brand without any historical data, we started by doing a lot of audience- and message testing. We rolled out multiple ads to multiple audiences to find out which ad performed best.

Food Club’s service offering and branding are all about sustainability, so we focused on targeting these areas: sustainability, ethical food brands, sustainability influencers, etc.

Once we figured out which audiences resonated most with the product, we scaled them: spending more and driving better results.

This provided us with better results from our ads and offered Food Club valuable client data for their future marketing and messaging.
