About The Client

Faultless Fitness are a gym based in Hereford. They’re not just any-old gym, though. Their mission is to provide their clients a fun and comfortable environment where they can become stronger, more active, flexible and feeling great – whether you’re comfortable in the gym or haven’t ever stepped foot in one.

The Challenge

The client approached us they had run ads in the past in-house, but had two main problems:

Aberdeen FC had no experience of paid activity on Facebook and wanted to test whether it could play a part in increasing season ticket sales for the 2017/2018 football league season. In previous years they had relied on traditional advertising efforts such as billboards and newspapers.

Our Approach

Before we launched any campaigns, we did extensive competitor research to see what we were competing against. Because Hereford is a small place, it was important for us to see what other competitor gyms were offering and how they were marketing. 

We noticed there was an opportunity to drown out the competition by creating educational video content, so we had the client create videos of the gym and their results. We then promoted the videos out to people in the local area – gaining huge amounts of trust reach for very little cost.

We built a funnel that pushed a free consultation (and a money back guarantee) and executed campaigns that drove people to book a consultation (after being qualified). We broke our campaigns into male and female, changing up the ad creative and messaging based on which gender we were targeting – making it more relevant.


We were able to create a system that achieved a consistent cost per lead of just £22.97. Because we had such great consistency, we were able to “turn the tap” on or off depending on if the client needed more leads or not.​

Our content promotion campaign was seen over 30,000 times which is half the population of the town, meaning we were able to get a huge amount of brand awareness which will positively impact the gyms marketing for months and years to come.​
