Food Clubs is a members-only shop that allows you to buy the best wholesome, ethical, and sustainable foods at wholesale prices up to 40% off the RRP. It’s the same model as big wholesale chains like Costco, but specifically for organic and ethically produced groceries.
As Good Club were launching, they approached us to do some initial proof-of-concept and audience testing. They wanted to discover which messages and audiences resonated most with their service. But of course, the ultimate test would be whether we could have people sign up and use the service.
Aberdeen FC had no experience of paid activity on Facebook and wanted to test whether it could play a part in increasing season ticket sales for the 2017/2018 football league season. In previous years they had relied on traditional advertising efforts such as billboards and newspapers.

Because this was a new brand without any historical data, we started by doing a lot of audience and message testing. We rolled out multiple ads to multiple audiences to find out which ad performed best. Because it’s a brand and service all about sustainability, we focused our targeting around these areas: sustainability, ethical food brands, sustainability influencers, etc.
Once we figured out which audiences were resonating most with the product, we scaled them, spending more and driving more results.This gave us, not just better results from our ads, but it gave client great data for the rest of their marketing and messaging.
We were able to generate thousands of sign ups for the client and hundreds of people going on to become long-term advocates of the brand.
We generated over 10,000 leads and managed to gather huge amounts of valuable data for the clients future marketing.
