About The Client

Loft Boarding Scotland are a loft flooring company based in Scotland. They help homeowners get more space in their home by installing flooring, ladders & loft lighting – using the award-winning LoftZone flooring system.

The Challenge

The client approached us looking to grow their business aggressively across Scotland. Being one of the only approved-providers of the service in Scotland, they knew how important it was to get maximum brand awareness quickly (before others came to market). 

Not just that but they wanted to create a predictable and reliable lead generation system that could be turned on and off when required.

Up until now they had relied on organic means to growing their business – which is great, but not entirely scaleable.

Aberdeen FC had no experience of paid activity on Facebook and wanted to test whether it could play a part in increasing season ticket sales for the 2017/2018 football league season. In previous years they had relied on traditional advertising efforts such as billboards and newspapers.

We kicked things off (as always) with a comprehensive audit and research phase, where we study the clients goals and the current market. After doing this research, it was obvious that we had a unique selling point that our competitors didn’t have – that we were the only providers in Scotland of LoftZone.

Based on this, we knew we had to do two things: get the brand out to as many people as possible (top level awareness) whilst driving real business results (leads – which in this case were free surveys).

Based on this we broke the campaigns down into three main categories:

TOF - Content Promo - We worked with the client to create high quality video and written content which we then distributed to people all over Scotland.

MOF - Prospecting - We did extensive research into who is most likely to need loft flooring and targeted ads to these people inviting them to book in a free survey.

Number 3

BOF - Retargeting - We created retargeting campaigns, targeted to people who consumed the content in our content promo campaigns.

Results

We were able to create a system that achieved a constituent cost per lead of just £17.04, which was under the target CPL of £20-25.

We reached over 268,169, with over 149,465 video views. This shows that our top of funnel, content promo campaigns performed exceptionally.

Not just that but generating hundreds of leads added a significant amount of revenue to the clients bottom line.
